The following instructions will help you to increase your salon’s income and give you many satisfied customers:

 Step #1 Place the jar of wax in a microwave oven for about 2 minutes. If using a water bath, heat the jar of wax in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes. The ideal consistency of the wax, before use, should be similar to that of heavy syrup or honey.

Step #2 Remove the jar from the microwave oven or water bath holding it with a towel to avoid burning yourself.

Step # 3 Twist the lid to open the jar, and then pour the melted wax into a pot or container which has a thermostat, Set the thermostat on a lower or medium temperature.
Step #4 Take a small portion of warm wax on a spatula, test for comfort on the back of your hand, and the apply thin layer onto the area to be treated. Be sure to apply wax in the direction of hair growth.
Step #5 Place a strip muslin over the wax which you just applied (leaving 1-2 inch of the cloth without wax on both ends for holding).

Step #6 Press your left hand on the unwaxed skin underneath the loose end of the cloth and apply pressure firmly to hold the muscle. Take the unattached end of the muslin with your tight hand and quickly pull it out -- opposite the direction of hair growth.

Caution: don’t pull up’, rather pull at a low angle, close to the skin. Repeat SL#6 using the same cloth 4-5 times for the same body part. Do not reapply wax to the areas where hair was removed already. This will prevent burning or other irritation of the skin. Step #7 Apply pressure for a few seconds to the area just treated, with the palm of you hand, immediately after the snip of muslin with wax and hair is removed. This will reduce pain.

Step #8 Apply a mineral oil or a ‘healing gel to all areas and gently massage treated skin, this will help to comfort your customer The red dots’ on treated areas will usually disappear within4to 48 hours.
